Our council faces huge budget cuts. So our area needs active, energetic people who will stick up for our community.
In Carol and Michael Clark, Grangefield has a Labour team who live here and will fight your corner on everything from investment in schools and police numbers to the environment and streetscene. All are under threat from the Conservative-led Coalition's cuts.
They'll work hard to ensure local services like refuse collection, street cleaning, libraries, leisure facilities and green spaces are efficient and responsive. They'll be easy to contact, quick to respond and ready to work with you and for you.
Labour councillors in Stockton have worked hard to create a brighter borough. This year, they have managed to protect our services from the worst effects of the cuts.
The future won't be easy and we need people who will work hard to secure proper services and a fair deal for our community.
Carol and Michael will give Grangefield a strong voice, bring the 'council to your corner' with street surgeries and walkabouts and be there for you whenever you need them.

Carol Clark
I've worked with homeless people, victims of domestic violence and as a teaching assistant. I'm a school governor and have been involved in voluntary and community work for 40 years.
I will ensure the council works efficiently and provides value for money services that improve residents' quality of life. I will always be around to listen as this is our community - we want the best for it.
Michael Clark
I am 55 and a public relations consultant. I'm a member of our local residents' association and a volunteer with a charity helping homeless young people. I've lived in Grangefield for 30 years and want it to be a place where people can put down roots and enjoy a clean, safe environment and access to good quality services and facilities. I also want it to be part of a more prosperous Stockton borough.
